Hello U7 families,
Please check on the status of your Respect In Sport. You will need this completed before your child can go on the ice.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RESPECT IN SPORT FOR 2021 - 2022 SEASON
It is required that all parents/guardians of players be certified in Respect in Sport - Parent (RIS) prior to players being allowed to participate in on-ice activity with Stettler Minor Hockey.
The Respect in Sport Parents course takes approximately 1 - 1.5 hours to complete and is offered through the Respect Group website https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com/
We are asking that all parents/guardians with an existing RIS certificate login to the Respect Group website to ensure that their certificate is valid. Courses completed from 2018 onwards are considered valid - if your certificate is from 2017, please check with the Martyne at registrar@stettlerminorhockey.com. Courses completed prior to 2016 are no longer valid.
Parents/guardians who have an existing RIS certificate with a new player in hockey must add the new player to their profile through the Respect Group website.
Parents/guardians of new players without an existing RIS certificate must create an account and add the player to their profile, then proceed to complete the Respect in Sport for Parents course.
The following link include link to document?? provides a quick tutorial with screen shots on verifying certificate validity, creating new accounts, and adding players to new and existing accounts. It is recommended to perform these actions from a desktop computer. Any difficulties with login to the Respect Group website must be referred to the Respect Group Helpdesk.
If you have any questions or issues please feel free to reach out.
