2020-2021 Season - Intent to Register PLEASE COMPLETE BY AUGUST 15TH
SMHA Members due to these unprecedented times we will be asking you to complete an Intent to Register form. (ONE PER PLAYER) This will not be a formal registration and SMHA will not be collecting funds at this time, however it will provide us with much needed information on player numbers to start our season planning. We want to be up front with everyone, and although we would love for life to return to normal and have a regular hockey season, it is highly unlikely.
With these changing times we are not able to predict the future, but as of right now, we anticipate the first part of the hockey season to consist only of in-house player development and no 5 on 5 competition. If things progress, we will move into regionalized play determined by Hockey Alberta, and finally hopefully league play.
These progressions will ultimately be dictated by Alberta Health Services and Hockey Alberta. SMHA will work in conjunction with the SRC to implement the required health protocols.
