U9

Welcome to our NEW U9 Director!

Happy Saturday hockey lovers!

Many of you are at the arena already watching your big kids go through evaluations and I am sure your U9 hockey stars are itching to get on the ice, too! We will be seeing them soon enough.

For now, I wanted to introduce you to the new U9 Director, Mel Bergstrom! As I do not have a U9 player this year, when the opportunity came up to move to the U11 Director's position, I took it. Mel has graciously offered to take on U9 this year. The U9 Director's position is the busiest age category position and the SMHA board appreciates Mel's willingness to come on board a little bit late in the year.

I will let Mel give her own introduction- but do know I am proud of this program and what we have accomplished in the last two years and I would not hand if off to someone I did not completely trust. She is the right woman for the job and she will put your little hockey player's first.

For now, rest assured that all the special requests have been recorded and are in Mel's capable hands.  Please continue to reach out to Stettlerstormu9@gmail.com with questions. Mel has taken over this account.

U9 was a blast and I am sad to be done with on ice pile ups, fall down goal celebrations, and the cuteness overload of small humans on skates.
