U11 Home Tournament Info - Jan 10-12/25
Hi U11 Parents,
I just want to send out some information for our upcoming home tournament and start to prepare.
Raffle Table
This year we are asking all parents to donate an item, basket or money for the raffle table. You can ask businesses for donations as long as they haven’t been asked by any other minor hockey teams already for this year. These items and the money will be collected by the B Team Manager, Holly Hunter. You can drop off to her at Hunter Veterinary Office from 9 am to 1 pm or 2 pm to 5 pm daily or at her kids practice times Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 or Wednesday from 6:30-7:30. All items are greatly appreciated and will help our raffle table be better than ever! Please hand in items before Christmas Break on December 20th if possible.
Donations
I tried to attach the donation request letter with this link for any companies that would like to make a monetary donation. If you cannot open the link please email me and I will send you one. Donation Letter
Swag Bags
If anyone would like to ask any of the businesses or restaurants in town for coupons or vouchers we would love some help to fill our swag bags for each player. This will help businesses advertise to our out of town teams, there will be 9 teams coming. If you could let us know who you could ask we will mark it down so no one asks someone twice.
Volunteer Schedule
I will be working on the volunteer schedule for the weekend soon. Each family should prepare to work 2-3 shifts per family either running clock, timesheet, penalty boxes or the raffle table. These hours do not go towards your volunteer hours and all parents are encouraged to help out as much as possible.
Game Schedule
I am also working on the game schedule and will send that out as soon as it is confirmed so teams and families can plan ahead. Keep in mind we have to work with other groups as well as the Rec Centre bookings, we will do the best we can with the time we have, but there are some times that are not ideal.
If you would like to help out in any way beforehand as there is a lot of preparation to make it happen, please let any one of us know.
