U11 Hockey Updates
Good day,
We have a few pieces of business to go over today:
U11 has a new director
- Karla’s son Jax has made the U11 AA Selects team. Because of this, she has stepped down as Director. I will be taking over; my name is Teela and if you are moving up from U9, I would have been your Director last year. I have two U11 players, my son Hudson, and my daughter Noelle, who play in the girls program. Thank you to Karla for putting in the work to this point and congrats to Jax, we are proud of you, buddy!

Email Issues
- We have had several reports of families not getting our emails. If you have friends or family members in the program who are not getting our emails, advise them to email admin@stettlerminorhockey.com with the email addresses they need added and their child’s name. Please Cc me on this email.
Selection Skates
- Selection skates are underway. Please find the remaining U11 skates below.
- Please arrive at the stated time for your skate. We want to give the kids time to check in, get their jersey, and stretch before hitting the ice.
- The check in process will be the same as Friday’s skate. Find me at the front to check in and get your jersey before taking your equipment to your assigned dressing room.
Manager Interest
- If you have interest in managing a team, please reach out to me via email. Understanding your child is still being evaluated, we will take all interest as tentative until teams are formed and then reach out to the interested parties.
- If you are a second year parent, please include what team your child played on last year.
- If you are not selected as manager, you will be given first shot at jersey parent. We will not be taking names for jersey parents at this time.
Home Tournament
- Our home tournament dates are January 5-7. Stay tuned for more information on this!

**Please note, Friday, September 22nd’s skate was only titled U11- this is a female practice.
I am really looking forward to another SMHA season. Once teams are made, I will reach out with a more comprehensive picture of what the season has in store for us.
