Important information/ Upcoming Deadlines
Hello Everyone!
Lots of items to go over and a few deadlines coming up ...
- PHOTO DAY: Save the Date! Photo Day is scheduled for Wednesday November 4th. I will share the times and more details as soon as I have them.
- BACON FUNDRAISER: Deadline for Bacon sales is coming up fast! Last date for sales is this Thursday October 22nd. Reminder 8 boxes = half your volunteer hours for the season and 13 covers all of them!
- APPAREL ORDERS: The final deadline for Stettler Storm Apparel orders is coming up this weekend, Sunday October 25th. Make sure you get your player/ fan orders in ASAP!
- MEDICAL FORMS/ VOLUNTEER CHEQUES: Thank you to everyone who has gotten these to me so far! I have a handful of medical forms I still need, but I need volunteer cheques from almost everyone. Reminder each family is required to have a $200 post dated volunteer cheque (this means if you have more than one player, even in another division, you are only required to provide the one cheque) If you still need to bring me medical forms or volunteer cheques, please do so as soon as possible.
- TEAMS: Lots of questions about teams and games. We will begin the team selection process shortly, and will have teams prior to photo day. That being said - we may wait a bit further into November to start playing games when the players are ready.
- COACH REQUESTS: Quick reminder that players are not allowed on the ice until there are coaches on the ice. If you have your player dressed and ready earlier than coaches have made it to the ice - please remind/ have your player wait on the bench until closer to our ice time, and the coaches will invite the players on the ice when they are ready for them.
- MISSING GLOVE: I have missing glove that was found in the hallway after our last practice. If everyone could check your bags so I could find its home that would be great!
- RED DEER RUSTLERS HOCKEY: The Red Deer Rustlers have extended an invite for 2020 born players for their spring season (Starts late March and concludes May long weekend). If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will happily forward more information/ the sign-up links for their November 8th try out date.
