Hello U13 Parents!
It’s hard to believe we are back at it again for the season! As tiering gets rolling this weekend, so do our plans for the tournament. We are excited for the teams that are coming and trust that they once again will find our community to be exceptional hosts!
Our tournament committee was unable to block hotel rooms in Stettler for tournament weekend so all of our visiting teams are having to travel. Let’s do our best to keep Stettler as a preferred tournament for our visiting teams. As in previous years, all parents will be added to the schedule to volunteer for the weekend running clocks and penalty boxes, selling raffle tickets and working security. There is a lot that goes on to run a weekend like this so in advance we want to thank each one of you for your help and support!
1)We are asking that all families contribute to our raffle table. This can be done financially through a $20 cash call, or by donating a raffle table item. Cash can be given to your manager and raffle items can be dropped at Contact Safety, no later than October 30.
2)Each player will receive a bottle of Gatorade in their swag bag. We are looking for a family or small business who would consider donating Gatorade for approximately 185 athletes.
3)Tournament Sponsors There is a large financial undertaking with a tournament. Our goal is to try and recoup the costs involved in registering your teams in their away tournaments. If you are so inclined to support our tournament through sponsorship your generosity would be so appreciated and will be recognized on a poster through the weekend. You are welcome to make a financial contribution to Stettler U13 tournament no later than October 30, and allocate where you would like your funds to go. Areas still looking for sponsorship are.

-The Meeting room rental fee (Saturday hang out zone and meeting point for out of town players and families)
Many hands make light work and a weekend like this isn’t possible without the incredible group of families in U13 hockey! Thank you so much for your support and we can’t wait to see you at the rink!
